Jerusalem & Tel Aviv, July 3rd, 2025 – Hadasit, the Venture building & Innovation Company of Hadassah Medical Center, has entered into a strategic pilot collaboration with Techsomed, a leader in AI-powered image guided therapy software solutions for minimally invasive procedures, to advance the next generation of minimally invasive image-guided therapies, specifically targeting tumors radiotherapy.
This collaboration marks a key milestone in Hadassah’s mission to integrate transformative technologies that enhance cancer patient care. It also enables Techsomed to scale and adapt its BioTrace AI-powered software platform using real-world clinical data, paving the way for expanding the platform into new therapeutic verticals within oncology.
Big Data Meets Clinical Precision in Cancer Care
Under the newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the two organizations will launch a multi-phase pilot program that leverages Hadassah’s extensive imaging datasets and clinical expertise of/in Oncology to direct and implement BioTrace’s treatment planning and validation, real-time visualization, predictive modeling, and in-procedure decision support capabilities into existing radiotherapy workflows.
By combining Hadassah’s clinical excellence and data infrastructure with Techsomed’s adaptive AI engine, the initiative aims to position Hadassah as a Center of Excellence for AI-driven image-guided therapy, while creating a blueprint for broader clinical adoption.
“Hadassah is proud to collaborate with Techsomed in translating innovation into clinical practice,” said Amir Dagan, CEO of Hadassah’s Medical Innovation Hub. “Together, we’re showing how medical institutions can harness big data to bring adaptive, AI-powered therapies into daily clinical use — and help shape global standards in precision medicine.”
“The heart of our mission is to make intelligent, minimally invasive solutions widely accessible to patients—quickly and at scale” said Yossi Abu, CEO of Techsomed. By leveraging Hadassah’s vast datasets, we are training our cutting-edge AI algorithms to tackle some of the toughest challenges in cancer treatment. This synergy between big data and BioTrace technology is redefining what’s possible in medicine, turning minimally invasive procedures into powerful, first-line curative treatments. It’s a game-changer for patients, offering new hope where it’s needed most.”
Prof. Aharon Popovitzer, Head of the Sharett Institute of Oncology, Hadassah Medical Center, added: “As we stand at the forefront of the fight against cancer, we recognize that overcoming the complexity of radiotherapy demands bold, AI-driven innovation. Partnering with Techsomed represents a shared commitment to advancing next-generation solutions that can truly transform patient care.”
